Himmelsblase / heaven's-bubble

woraus der Wald besteht
in dem wir wohnen
kann ich nicht mit Sicherheit
sagen
auch von oben gesehen
zugleich mit beiden Händen
in der Himmelsblase
ein Strauß
der allerschönsten Blumen
ergriffen
weiß nun
noch immer nicht
was es gewesen ist
dass mich
aus dem Schlaf gerissen hat

I cannot say
with certainty
what the woodland
is made of
in which we are living
also seen from above
at the same time
grasped the prettiest
flowers
with both hands
within the heaven's-bubble
but do still not know
what it was
which torn me
out of the sleep
