Short Introduction


Every day I write an Event Notation - you could say poem, but that doesn't quite capture it.

Each event notation is preceded by a short description of the saint to whom the day is dedicated.

In each event notation there are infinitive sequences, that is, a series of verbs.

The verbs form the framework of what is performed on stage with the Compagnia dell'Imbuto Confuso: the story of the saints in short acts.

The stories are interspersed with sketches and notes by the director. The notes make poetic-philosophical references to what happens on stage.

Clara Fey, who from an early age showed an interest in social work, lovingly cared for young people from desperate backgrounds, from whom the Congregation of the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus was born.

Nicolas's Day Part I

In my memories, my father never cries. He speaks little and never in Italian.

In Canada, I started walking the streets. It took me about an hour to get from the place in the suburbs where my aunt, uncle, and cousin lived to downtown. Sometimes my aunt would ask me to do something for her. This was difficult for me because my English was really bad.

What are saints?

As you already know, the dialogues of the actors are unfolded by the infinitive sequences found in the daily written event notation.
Before we follow the dialogue and physical interaction, let's consider why the description of the saints is given as a kind of preface to each event notation.

What and Why?

There are two important what-and-why questions we need to talk about:
First, what does love have to do with design, poetry, and philosophy - and what do the latter three have to do with each other?
Second, what is the point of these questions, and why should they be answered at all?

How it works

It is very easy to explain how it works. Something is constantly happening around me that affects my perception. Whether I am aware of it or it is stored in the receptacles of my mind. There is always an unspectacular affection.

I write the notations by hand. I use a small notebook that I always carry with me. Then I transfer the handwritten notations into a database where I also extract the infinitives.

For each daily notation, two sequences of infinitives are defined, one for the left and one for the right of the stage. Then, using a specially coded software, each letter of the infinitive sequences is assigned to a fixed coordinate on the Vitruvian Matrix.
